This pattern comes in 4 sizes from kid to adult sizes. It’s definitely a great chicken themed hat pattern for the every type of chicken lover person.
Skill Level: Intermediate, it’s mostly split single crochet stitches with simple tapestry color.
SHORT OVERVIEW
The hat is worked in the round, bottom-up. First work a single crochet ribbing, then work split single crochet along the edge of the ribbing in rounds.
A pom is attached to the top.

Kid (14-15”/36-38 cm)
Child (17-19”/43-48 cm)
Adult (22-23”/56-58 cm)
Adult XL (24-25”/60-64 cm)
MATERIALS:
5.0mm (H hook), or hook to obtain gauge
4.0mm (G hook) for ribbing if preffered.
The aran weight yarn from Drops Nepal is perfect for thick winter hat, but you can use any similiar aran yarn.
Yarn Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 82 yds/1.75 oz (75 m/50 g).
Camel – 1 skein (2 for adult sizes);
White – 1 skein;
Red – 1 skein;
Yellow – 1 skein
Purple – 1 skein (2 for adult sizes)
