This pattern comes in 2 sizes from toddler/child 19-21” to adult sizes (22-24”). It’s definitely a great animal themed hat pattern for the every type of dog lover person.
Skill Level: Intermediate, it’s mostly stockinette stitch with color changes.
The hat is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. First work rib 1/1, then work colorwork in stockinette stitch.
A pom pom is attached to the top.
SIZES:
- Toddler/child: 48-53 cm (19-21″)
- Adult: 56-62 cm (22–24″)
MATERIALS:
• US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles for the rib
• US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles for colorwork
Yarn Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 82 yds/1.75 oz (75 m/50 g).
You can use any similiar aran yarn.
GAUGE:
10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inch = 20 stitches in width and 24 rows/rounds in height with colorwork, after blocking.

English. All patterns are written in standard US terms
