Today let’s knit beautiful Pine Tree Hat!
This pattern comes in 2 sizes from child 20-21” to adult sizes (22-24”). It’s definitely a great winter themed hat pattern.
Skill Level: Intermediate, it’s mostly stockinette stitch with color changes.
The hat is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. First work rib 1/1, then work colorwork in stockinette stitch.
A pom pom is attached to the top.
SIZES:
- Child Head circumference: 50-55 (20-21.5 inch)
- Adult Head circumference: 56–62 cm (22–24 inch)
MATERIALS:
• US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles
Yarn Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 82 yds/1.75 oz (75 m/50 g).
You can use any similiar aran yarn.
GAUGE:
10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inch = 20 stitches in width and 23 rows/rounds in height with colorwork, after blocking.
